"Second Saturday" speed scraps - starting August 12th!
 

We'd like to keep the fun & camaraderie of the marathon going by trying something new. On the second Saturday of each month, we will have 3 speed scraps... so a 'mini' marathon, if you will. Individual hosts may offer participation prizes, but there will not be an overall prize for finishing all three (unless someone approaches us to offer ;). Like other speed scraps, the hosts should provide the instructions in the chat room as well as the forum.

August 12th will be our first "Second Saturday Speed Scrap" day. I know not everyone will be available (some of us staff have conflicts too), but we wanted to put this idea into motion while everyone still has the marathon on their minds.

We need some volunteers to host! These times are flexible, just wanted to have a rough estimate

1) #228 - 8am Pacific (11am Eastern) Andrea (tukogirl)

2) #229 - 11am Pacific (2pm Eastern) Stacy (doodlebugz3)

3) #230 - 5pm Pacific (8pm Eastern) Justine (Bellbird)

(spots filled for this month, but we'll need some for next month!)

I love it! Sadly, I will be away this Saturday, but hopefully I will make it back on Sunday with a little time to come scrap!

If you still need hosts & can make it 5pm eastern Sat the 12th, that makes it 10am on Sun13th for me in Australia and is doable for me. What would i need to do? Just be in the chat room and make up and give out the instructions at 10min intervals and then comment on everyone's pages in the thread?

How fun! I will be gone all day that Saturday! But sounds great!
