I hit jackpot when I called Disney yesterday- booked the free dining deal and bought our tickets to MNSSHP! This will be our first HP, and we're excited. Now, if the Pirates League will extend their hours that day, we'll be all set with all our plans...

Laura-The Halloween Party is my FAV Disney thing (and that's saying a lot since I love lots of Disney, lol!!) You'll have a blast!! I don't know if it's possible (esp with flight prices) but hopefully I can hop down to Disney just for the party, since our main trip this yr is going to be in Dec.

I agree!!! I'm waiting for them to extend those hours, too. When I called last week, they said they hadn't opened up anything yet, but to check back. Probably should do that this week...

The Halloween Party is fantastic!! I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do!:hooray:

Whooo Hooo! Wendy and I are going back with the kids and our mom's (the hubby's have to work ;))for MVMCP. We did MNSSHP last year and LOVED it, and can't wait to see WDW all decked out for the holidays!

Question about MNSSHP - my son will be just a few months past 2 yrs old. He's a late one, usually doesn't go to bed until after 9:00 pm. He will be free, but is it worth it for DH and I to take him to see the early parade? Anyone taken an little one and found it enjoyable?

I have a question about the Christmas party...do you have to leave the park and reenter for the party, or can you just stay in the park for the party?

Is it a problem if the party is NOT on a day we actually go to MK? Would taht cause problems? you don't have to have a ticket to both MK and the party right? Since it's after park hours? Still trying to figure this all out! Thanks!

No, you don't have to leave and re-enter the park. You get a wristband, and there are several places around the park where you can get the wristband. It's actually better to be in the park before the party. Usually, you can get into the park at 4pm with your party ticket.

And, yes, you can go to any park you want that day. Your park ticket is completely separate than the party ticket. As I was saying earlier, you can get into MK with your party ticket at 4pm (every year, people get worried that this won't be the case, but it always takes place.) I would actually recommend you get to the MK as early as you can after 4pm. If you wait to get to the park at 7, it's insane.

Some people chose to get one less day on the ticket when they go to the party. Then they can relax, stay at the resort, go to Downtown Disney, etc earlier that day, and then go to MK at 4pm. Then you are getting basically a full day at the park 4pm-midnight. Thats a good way to save money. I usually like to go to DTD the day of the party because I know it will be a long night.
