It is almost here! The MouseScrappers Annual Speed Scrap Marathon! This year, we have a few new ideas for this years event:
New prize levels
As always, we will have a special virtual 'medal' and goodie bag for those that finish ALL 15 of the speed scraps (i.e. the full marathon). However, if finishing all of them is a bit too ambitious for you, then you may like to aim for one of our two new prize levels: the "10K" (i.e. complete 10 speed scraps) or a '5K' (i.e. complete 5 speed scraps). Each one has a different medal and goodie bag.
Expo
The 'Expo' will be a place to get information and tips about the speed scraps, as well as see a sample of products available for sale from designers who have who have graciously donated prizes for our marathon. Keep your eyes open for the Expo opening on Thursday as this is where we will reveal the prizes for each speed scrap.
Paying it Forward
Many people are working hard behind the scenes to provide you with lots of fun and freebies this weekend. In return, we would like to encourage you to 'pay it forward' by helping to make Wishes come true for the special families that stay at the Give Kids the World Village - a 70-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort, located near Central Florida’s most beloved attractions, where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacations.
