Hi Mousescrappers, who’s ready to get another scrap closer to that full marathon goodie bag? Before we kick things off, here’s a reminder of the rules…
*Over the next hour you will receive 7 instructions to follow to get the PP
*Your page must be Disney (or near by park) related
*Once your page is completed you must upload it to the Speed Scrap #220 gallery, post your layout in this thread and in the appropriate sub forum (with a link). An example of this will be shown in my completed post.
*Try to leave some love for your fellow scrappers. It’s always nice to receive lovely comments on your work.
I will be giving quite a bit of extra time, since this scrap will end in the evening for me, I’ll not be checking and sending out prizes until my lunch break the next day (British time). Meaning you have until around
7am Eastern to upload and post your layout to receive the prize.
Here’s a reminder of what you are playing for:
This scrap is castle themed to go along with the PP, however you can scrap any theme you like!
Speed Scrap instructions:
1. There are 6 Disney Parks around the world with their very own castles →
Use up to 6 photos for your page.
2. The castle is the focal point for the Magic Kingdom Parks →
Make one photo a focal photo and large on the page.
3. No matter which park you are at, the castles have blue and gold turrets→
I want to see something blue on your page along with at least a little tiny touch of gold.
4. There are two castles in the USA, named “Cinderella Castle” and “Sleeping Beauty Castle” →
You must have a two/three word title and use either two alphas, or both an alpha and a font.
5. All of the castles are lavishly decorated, and rightly so →
Use at least one flag/banner, some foliage, at least 5 flowers and 3 themed elements. Alongside these you can use as many other elements as you need to decorate your page.
6. The castles evoke a feeling of magic →
Add something “magical” to your page (pixie dust, glitter or anything that says magic to you).
7. Once you’ve been to a Disney Park, the image of the castle will always stick around as a lasting memory →
Preserve your memories, add at least a few sentences of journaling and add any finishing touches.
Here is my sample page using a new kit coming to my store soon "That Castle":
