Yes, the holidays have always been quieter around the site than other times of the year. There are always lots of things going on 'offline', lol. But in general, things have been a little sleepy around MS over the last few months. I've gotten a number of messages from people apologizing for not being on - that they've missed it but they've had no scrapping mojo or are just busy with life. At the same time I'm seeing lots of anticipation and excitement about the upcoming marathon, and though I know people may be burned out on scrapping afterwards, I hope that being back on the site during the marathon will help them reconnect with MS friends and will help them to remember to pop in every now and then to say hello, even if they aren't currently scrapping.
