DCL Wonder - changes for 2012/2013
When Kimberly noticed that DCL canceled the Mexico sailings for the Wonder for December 2012, I started worrying that they might pull out of Mexico. Yep, looks like they have. I'm sure this will make a lot of people happy, but this is really sad news for us folks on the West coast.
Bottom line - The Wonder will be based in Miami for 4 night Bahamian and 5 night Caribbean cruises. It will then come back through the Panama Canal in order to go back to Alaska (as it seems that market continues to do well). So if you were thinking about taking a Disney cruise to Mexico -or- wanted to sail from Seattle instead of Vancouver, you need to do it in 2012 (starting AND ending in Seattle currently means no passport is needed, and flights are often a bit cheaper to Seattle than Vancouver depending on where you are). Here is a list of sailings through 9/2/13 (I notice there is no mention after that date):

So, The Alaska cruise will no longer leave from Seattle?! Oh....this makes me sad!!! We are planning a Disney cruise to Alaska for 2014 or 2015......maybe they'll change things by than!
Thanks for posting the updates!
