Sorry I have disappeared a little but we have all been battling head colds around here that just won't seem to go away. I'm so happy to see so many pages already!! I will try to check in tomorrow but am getting ready to go on our trip Despite the minor colds, hubby and I are going to go ahead anyway. We figure if all we do is lay around looking out at the Savannah it will be worth the trip. We will be leaving on Friday but I'll come back and check with everyone on Monday. I hope we have some more posts!

Everyone's pages are looking great! I just wanted to post a couple of tutorials that I used which might help you use the word art in your pp.

This one is from a grieving mommy's blog. I LOVE her stuff. It is a tutorial about coloring pages but the end shows how to use a clipping mask with the outlines. This is the same technique you can use with the word art. http://agrievingmommy.blogspot.com/2...-on-using.html

This one is from Elegant Word Art by Bethany. I adore her blog and she gives freebies daily. Her tutorial shows how to change the color of word art. http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com...rdart_rb.shtml

Don't forget you can also use a clipping mask and your word art can look like whatever paper you wish---it's very versatile.

Terrific Challenge! I've been wanting to do this layout and this was a perfect reason. I really wanted to do something different rather than the traditional reds and went total grunge heart and flower and all.
