Design Challenge #4 - July 2012 - THE KIT
If you have been looking for a kit that truly captures the feel of Big Thunder Mountain, your search is over! For the month of July, the Design Challenge had a bit of a twist; instead of working with a color palette, the participants were given a theme -- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad -- and they did not disappoint! This collab is AMAZING! It is a perfect kit for your Big Thunder Mountain Railroad layouts as well as Frontierland, Splash Mountain, Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review, Pecos Bill's restaurant, Woody (Toy Story), meet and greets with characters in western attire, and general western/desert layouts. Many of the designers had never worked with a western-type theme before but you would never know that by looking at their submissions.
This collab consists of 12 mini kits (7 of which include their own alphas), 2 templates, and 1 alpha, and it is in the MouseScrappers store right now! Can you believe you can get the whole thing for only $3?!?! That's right, $3; this is a deal you don't want to pass up. Get it here. Want to see what you can do with this collab? The CT has created some fabulous layouts using it...you can find them in the DC4 gallery and today's blog post. Some of the Design Challenge participants are also offering coordinating freebies on their blogs. The official start time of the blog hop is 9:00 am CST but these blogs are from all over the world so please be patient and try back later if there is nothing posted when you visit. Here is the complete list of the stops on the blog hop: chef minnie mouse: http://lisacampbelldesigns.blogspot.com/ saar: http://saaronline.blogspot.com/ romajo: http://romajoscrap.blogspot.com/ omaha: http://marycupofteadesigns.blogspot.com/ afirmbeliever: http://kbcustomcreations.blogspot.com/ fran98765: http://franscraps.blogspot.com/ pooh46: http://www.bookladydesigns.blogspot.com ljritchie: http://www.chubbychihuahua-designs.com/ msbagley: http://madforthemouse.blogspot.com/ mjajmom: http://www.mjajdesigns.blogspot.com/ cindyrelly: http://cindyrelly.blogspot.com/ missdamsel: http://www.damseldesigns.blogspot.com/ liriel: http://www.goldiscraps.com/ These ladies worked hard to bring you these freebies so please leave some love for them when you download from their blogs. How would you like to get the next Design Challenge collab for FREE? Well, you can...all you have to do is participate in the challenge. Every participant gets the entire current month's Design Challenge collab for FREE! The August Design Challenge is already up and running; come join us here!

You should all be very proud of your work on these Design Challenges! Just when I think they can't get any better, you guys turn out something like DC4 which is phenomenal and is already getting rave reviews! Everyone is growing personally as designers through these challenges too! Thank you so much for helping MS with your participation in the Design Challenges, and for making my stash more incredible every month!
