Weekly Challenge #52 (9/15-9/21)
Hi everyone! I'm posting a bit early because I need to get this done now. Hope that doesn't bug anyone
It's my daughter's birthday today and I've been thinking a lot about why I scrapbook and what it means to me. My siggie says, "Life is about Love and Scrappin' is my documentation of that Love." I am feeling like I need to focus in on that thought more - specifically scrapping the really important and meaningful things in life. And Disney is one of those things for me - and I'm sure for you too - if you are reading this So this week, we are going to focus on Meaningful Moments or Magical Moments at Disneyland. The only rule is that your layout should be about something meaningful to you that is Disney related. It can be a page about something special that happened at a Disney Park or it can be home related like a special costume or souvenir. Or just a layout about what Disney means to you - what is it you love about Disneyland or a favorite part? It's really open and really simple but hopefully it will inspire you to do a layout you will treasure. 1. Scrap a meaningful page that is Disney related. 2. Upload your Layout to the MouseScrappers Gallery in the Weekly Challenge category. 3. Then, using the gallery link, post your layout in two places: in this challenge thread, and in the appropriate forum. 4. Leave praise for fellow competitors! Here's my pages that I made when I was thinking about this challenge. One of the things I really love about Disneyland is that it doesn't matter how old you are! You can get an autograph with a character at any age. These pages are about a special moment with Goofy when he was giving my hubby a hard time giving the sharpie pen back It was so fun to see Goofy doing that to a Dad. My pages are called, "You've been punked, no you've been Goofed!" Made using Natalie's new kit out tomorrow "Well Whattya Know" If you follow all of the rules, I have a prize package for ya! I made a Princess kit to scrap my daughter's princess birthday cake. So, my PP is the kit I made called Princess Chloee. Here it is: And a page I made with it: Hope you like it! And I hope you scrap something meaningful to you.

My Favorite Memory:
Here's my favorite memory from Disneyland, probably always will be. I just wish I had better pictures...
Thanks for the great challenge. The PP is beautiful! Ahhh! Two typos. I'll have to fix that before this gets printed. =)

Thanks for hosting the challenge!
Goofy's Kitchen Dinner is one of our favorites. We celebrated our daughter's birthday there in 2009 before going to the Mickey's Not So Scary Trick or Treat Party. I posted in two forum threads http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...?t=3389&page=3 & http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...9022#post39022 |

I love this challenge! I have been wanting to scrap one of my favorite Disney Memories, but I was waiting until I had a little more experience digi scrapping, I wanted to do it justice! Now that the book is almost done, and with the push of your challenge, I think I can do it!
It may take me all week, I am glad you posted early! Amazing PP! I love your work! |
