Any tutorials on how to make digi-designs?
I would like to learn how to make digital scrapbooking papers, elements, alphas, all of it. Where do I start? I use PSE7 right now, will soon install PSE9. I am getting a graphics tablet soon. So what tips and tricks can you tell me, and where can I find tutorials? THANKS!!!

Just did a book search on Hastings and found a book by Renee Pearson, Digital Designs for Scarpbooking 2: Make Your Own. It sounds like it tells you step-by-step how to make all of your own digital designs. I think I'm going to see if I can get it at the library. I think it would still be great if some of the wonderful designers here did tutorials There are so many I admire, and LOVE their designs.

I recommend you use Photoshop, not Elements to design. You might find Elements limiting. It's one of those things, you need to play to figure it all out. I love the actions at Atomic Cupcake, check them out.

Thanks for suggesting Atomic Cupcake, gonna go check them out. PSE9 is all I can afford, can't swing the $$$$ for the full PS program, dh would have heart failure if I even suggested it

Hey there everyone! Carol is suggesting we do "action" chats here on Mousescrappers. For those with Photoshop, actions help you when you have to do something over and over OR they can make certain things happen without having to go through the menus and do it manually.
It would be a good idea to maybe have some simple design chats too. The problem is, not everyone has the same version of Photoshop. Some of us use SBC, GIMP, an old Photoshop or something similar. We will have to figure out a way to work this all out. Keep checking the Chit Chat forum periodically to see what's going on! We have a forum for tutorials here on MS. There are also a TON of tutorials on how to do cool effects on Youtube.com. |
