This is my take on the scraplift. I kinda feel strange about this as a scraplift because it doesn't really resemble the original layout, but its what I ended up with. I hope its OK

I was inspired by the circle in the back, so I started with some rings instead of a paper circle and then decided that the photo needed to be round too. Instead of making the L shape with papers behind, I made an L shape with elements.

Karyn, I've just sent you a PM. A google search for that error message seems to indicate that your file is corrupt. I just thought of another possible solution - try to upload your photo to a photo hosting site like Photobucket or Flick'r, then save it back to your computer with a different name and try to upload it again. I really don't know enough about computers to be much more help.
