Weekly Challenge #376 (April 26 - May 2)
Welcome to Weekly Challenge #376!
This week you are challenged to do something I do fairly often on pages - make a scene! What do I mean by that? I want you to use at least 4 elements to make a little 'scene' on your page. Need some ideas - castle with plants and clouds and sun, garden scene, space scene, a road with cars and sky in the background.... get it?? Here is my sample page using the awesome Cars Rule kit by Britt ish Designs and I've actually created 3 little scenes that would qualify for this challenge.. 1 - blue car, road, route 66 sign, arrow 2 - red car, journal card, banners, 2 cactus 3 - (in filmstrip) clouds, sky, mountain, cactus, cactus also posted here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...325#post169325 You can also have clusters on your page, but you do need to have at least 1 distinct scene that is separate from the clusters. Pre made clusters/scenes do not count!! Britt is donating a $10 gift certificate to her store to the lucky winner of this challenge! How awesome is that?!?! I will use the random number thingy to pick a winner next week. Best of luck on you scene creation and let me know if you have any questions or need more ideas. Can't wait to see your pages!! |

Thank you for hosting Andrea! I often make scenes on my layouts too!
Here's my page, recreating Peter Pan's flight over London, using my Off To Neverland collection: also posted here

I hope I am doing this right - This is only my second layout post here... I created a scene using sand, water, starfish, a ray and the sun. I used a kit from Kelly Belle Designs called Port of Call. The template is by Aprilisa Picture Perfect 116. I have to say, I was working on this layout and wasn't thrilled with the way it was working. Thanks to this fun challenge I moved a bunch of stuff around, created the scene and like it much better now!

Thank you for hosting and to Britt for the prize! I ended up doing an additional page since the one I started first just didn't end up having a scene option. Love the idea; will have to use it again. This time I redid some pages I've wanted to update with Project Mouse.
