I'M BACK!!!

Today is actually my first day back home after surgery. I can't tell you how much of a nightmare this has all been... In a nutshell, it wasn't my gall bladder, it was a massive hernia that I've apparently had since my youngest was born a year ago (I didn't have a clue that I had it). They almost took my gall bladder out for nothing! I'm certainly glad they figured it out before they did surgery... All is better now though; on the mend and trying to get caught up with everything that I haven't been able to do while I was gone.

I am currently compiling all of the minis from DC10 and the links will go out today. If there is still an interest in doing the design challenges, I can get the new challenge up this week. Since May is almost over, I think we'll do another long challenge for DC11, making it due at the end of July. Watch your inbox for the DC10 links and the forum for DC11 information!

Sooo glad you are back, Christina. I have been wondering why it took so long. I've had my gallbladder removed myself 3 years ago, and I was recovered really soon (2 weeks, but was home way earlier).
But, wow, a hernia, that's no fun! Hope you are doing well, and take your rest if needed!

I'd liked these challenges. I've joined in all. But it's sad so many left... Glad others joined, though!

Christina, glad to hear that you are recovering from the hernia surgery. That's no fun. Hopefully you'll be up and back to normal soon (if ever there is a normal anymore )

Our family is moving from TX to CA in early June as soon as the boys get out of school so I don't think I'll be participating in the next Design Challenge. We'll be busy moving, unpacking and getting our new house set up. I'll have to catch back up with DC12.

I hope that you are feeling better now! My ydd is having her tonsils out mid June so, I hope the next challenge does happen in June. I'll actually have time off to be with her and lay on the couch eating popsicles.
