Weekly Challenge #778 (May 10 - May 16)

These are the usual reminders:
Post layouts in two places: in the challenge thread, and in the appropriate forum
Please leave comments for challenge participates. It's nice to get feedback.
Please don't use a quick page to fulfill the challenge.

There is not a prize for this challenge.

My challenge this week is to mess up your pages. I watched Britt scrap on Facebook Monday night and as I worked a page after that just wasn't quite where I wanted it I remembered her saying that she wanted to add something to make her page a little grungier. I did that and it made such a difference in my page; helped tie all the elements together and toned down the brightness of the background. So add something messy to your pages, I used a mask but splatters, scatters or anything that adds something random to the page would work.

This is my page I've added the before & after the mask so you can see what a difference just that touch made.

I love it. Such a simple change makes the layout have so much more depth! Will be back with a page later this week!!

I wanted a simple background for this one, so just a little grit (the circle overlay) to the plain red paper adds just enough! Thanks for the challenge!
