Ticket prices going up August 1st (potentially)
Disney has raised the price of their theme park tickets the last several years on August 1st, and some Disney fan sites are anticipating that the price will raise yet again this year. So if you know you need to buy some tickets, you may want to make your purchase before Sunday.
Likewise, if you are considering booking a vacation package, you may want to consider doing it before then. Note that if you book through Disney, you can get your deposit back (less any payment made on insurance) if you haven't reached the 'final payment' date. After that, there will be a penalty ($100 if you cancel up to 7 days before, or $200 up to 1 day before).

Walt Disney World tickets will also increase on Thursday. They will increase by $3-$22 depending on the length of the ticket.
Park Hopper and Water Parks and More options are increasing from $52 to $54 plus tax. The No Expiration Date option goes up quite a bit in some cases (e.g. the NE option on the 9 day ticket increases from $178 to $208) See more details on MouseSavers.com

Bummer! We saw the increase on the Disney Parks blog, but as of a bit ago today they still hadn't changed so maybe sometime later today it will be "live" on their site. We were gonna snag them but we aren't sure if we are gonna go for less or more days now.
