Here for Speed Scrap #213 Sunday April 3, 2016 7pm CDT
Hi and welcome to the last crop of the marathon. Here is the spot for SS #213. Will meet you in the chat room at 7pm CDT. Here is what you will be playing for:
Make sure you join Neverland Scraps Facebook Fan Group to see the coordinating mini kit that matches this alpha, and being given in one of the goodie bags This beautiful pp was donated by Neverland Scraps. Please be sure to give her a big thank you. Ah. "The thrill of victory. The agony of"... de hands! Hello and congratulations fellow mousescrappers. As you make it to the last speed scrap before crossing the finish line, give yourself a pat on the back. Another marathon is in the books. Don't feel rushed to complete this scrap; as you will have until 2 pm CDT Monday to finish your page. Be sure to post your links and or pages in this thread and in the appropriate forums for credit. I'd like to thank Wendy of Neverland Scraps for donating this beautiful pp. Please be sure to thank her and everyone who donated their time and talents for making this event possible. As always, there will be instructions given through out the hour; 7 instructions in all. 1. We will be using the theme crossing the finish line for our page; yet use any subject you want. You may use as few or as many pictures and a template if you want. 2. Since this scrap is about crossing finish line, at least one of your papers needs to be ruled or lined. Any color. After that, use whatever combination of papers, colors, you please. 3. The end of an event is sometimes signified by a checkered flag. It does not need to be a flag, but some kind of checkered embellishment or paper, paper strip, etc.. 4. Runners often break through a ribbon. So, use at least one ribbon on your page. 5. There's usually a banner at an event of this type. Please use at least one banner. 6. Runners are identified with large numbers on their shirts. Cars display them on the side. Let's see at least a large number or letter on your page. Just make it noticeable. It could be a date or a day or if you can't work numbers in, letters will be fine. 7. Lastly, put any finishing touches you think it needs and take a victory lap. Pour some bottled water on your head. You are DONE!! Way to go!!! Here is my example: Last edited by ljritchie; 04-03-2016 at 06:58 PM. |

Here is my layout:
1. We will be using the theme crossing the finish line for our page; yet use any subject you want. You may use as few or as many pictures and a template if you want - CHECKED. 2. Since this scrap is about crossing finish line, at least one of your papers needs to be ruled or lined. Any color. After that, use whatever combination of papers, colors, you please - CHECKED - I used orange and white striped paper. 3. The end of an event is sometimes signified by a checkered flag. It does not need to be a flag, but some kind of checkered embellishment or paper, paper strip, etc.. - CHECKED - I used a checkered flag 4. Runners often break through a ribbon. So, use at least one ribbon on your page - CHECKED- I used a ribbon bow in the flower/leaves/flag cluster. 5. There's usually a banner at an event of this type. Please use at least one banner - CHECKED. 6. Runners are identified with large numbers on their shirts. Cars display them on the side. Let's see at least a large number or letter on your page. Just make it noticeable. It could be a date or a day or if you can't work numbers in, letters will be fine - CHECKED - I included a number 8 (that's the row number they got off from). 7. Lastly, put any finishing touches you think it needs and take a victory lap. Pour some bottled water on your head. You are DONE!! Way to go!!! - CHECKED Also posted here --> http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...&postcount=109 Last edited by MsCarolina; 04-04-2016 at 08:38 AM. |
