>>> Here for Speed Scrap #176 <<<

Everybody ready to do some speed scrappin'? I'll be in the chat room in a couple of minutes!

For now, here is a reminder of what you are playing for:

Have your favourite Disney film in mind as you read play as it will determine your list of instructions! Each step will have options which depend on your chosen film meaning everyone will have a different set of instructions by the end! **NOTE // Your chosen film does NOT have to feature in your layout. You can scrap any photographs (providing Disney or nearby parks). Your favourite film ONLY determines your instructions**

__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ _________________

Instructions:
1. One of the first things to be set with a new film is the release day...
*If your favourite film was released pre-1985 ~ use 4 or more photos;
*If your favourite film was released post-1985 ~ use three or less photos.

2. Slowly you start to see snippets of the character design, and before long they even start to appear in the parks...
*If you've ever met a character from your film in the parks ~ pick a template with a large focal photo and any other photos smaller on the page;
*If you've never met any character from the film in the parks ~ pick a blocked/ project life style template or simply place your photos in a line.

3. It's getting pretty close to the release date and the production company's work is really starting, having to market that film...
*If your chosen film is a Disney Classic then I want to see 4 or more patterned papers feature predominantly in your layout (you may use solids too as long as there are a higher number of patterned);
* If your chosen film is produced by Pixar then I want to see 4 or more solids feature predominantly on your layout (you may use patterned too as long as there are a higher number of solids);
*If your chosen film is produced by any other Disney Production (Nightmare Before Christmas/ High School Musical/ Muppets etc) then I'd like an equal mix of patterned and solid papers (roughly).

CHECK POST #11 IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH THIS STEP

4. The posters are on every billboard and the trailer is constantly on the tv, everywhere you go you are surrounded by references to the new film...
*If there is a character name in the title of the film (ie. Bambi, Wreck it Ralph, Cinderella) then I want to see a big bold title using at least one alpha;
*If there isn't a character name in the title (ie. Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Brave) then make your title more subtle somehow, shrink it right down/ use a font/ blend it slightly into your background/ use a journal card etc.

5. You finally go to see it, and like any Disney movie, the characters totally make the film...
*If your favourite films main cast is made up (primarily) of people then add at least 6 ribbons/strings/ric-rac/paper strips AND 4 buttons;
*If your favourite films main cast is made up (primarily) of animals then add at least 6 flowers AND some foliage;
*If your favourite films main cast is made up (primarily) of anything else ie. Robots, Toys, Cars, Monsters then add at least 6 stars AND a scatter.

6. And of course the relationships between the characters ensure there's an occasional tug at the heart strings...
[this one is a bit of a judgement call for some films]
*If you'd say the focus is on love (Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp) then use some stitching on your page;
*If you'd say the focus is on family/friendship (Frozen, Toy Story, Cars) then use metal fasteners such as staples or brads on your page.

7. At the end of every film the credits roll - add anything else you feel your page needs - try to include a Hidden Mickey!

YOU HAVE UNTILL NOON EASTERN TIME TO COMPLETE YOUR PAGE, UPLOAD TO THE SS#176 GALLERY AND POST A LINK IN THIS THREAD!
