Why are threads reading newest to oldest?

I am new to the forum and when I first started reading threads they read oldest to newest (so the posts started at post #1) now when I go into a thread they are reading newest to oldest. So when I click on page 1 it starts at the last post (like post #32) and I have to read the thread backwards (post #1 would be on the last page). Hope this makes sense. Does anyone know why this all of a sudden changed and how do I change it back

Go to the User CP and click on Edit Options (or see if this link works: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...do=editoptions)

Look for the heading "Thread Display Mode" and change it to "Linear - Oldest First"

Oh, I just realized that the default for new users was "Linear - newest first". Wow... it must have been like this since November (when I moved us to vBulletin). I'm surprised nobody mentioned it before.

I changed it to "Linear - oldest first". This will help anyone new (who registers after this point in time), but not existing members. I can do a mass change another way if it doesn't throw too many people off.
