It doesn't matter what mechanism we use to scrapbook, we all share a love for Disney and a desire to document our vacations so our families will remember those 'magical moments' for years to come. We all take photos of the same things in the parks (e.g. buildings, characters) so we can all benefit by sharing ideas for colors and elements to accentuate those photos - no matter if you use physical or digital supplies. Welcome!

Iím new to this site & to Disney scrapbooking. I have done a few other pages over the last 10 years, but time is always an issue to do more. At this point I have only done traditional scrapbook, but one day I would like to do some hybrid when I have a better computer & a good program. I donít for see ever giving up on the texture & the handmade details for flat pages.

I decided this morning to peek back into this website. It's been a long while since I had any activity here. I just finished a 54 page traditional scrapbook in honor my deceased brother. He will be gone 20 years, and I miss him greatly.

I have not done any Disney Scrapping in a very long time. My printer has been acting up, and so that definitely puts a damper on any scrapping that I might want to do.

I love going to the parks, and I have had some recent trips. I love visiting the characters, and I have been entertaining the idea of doing some 8 x 8 layouts of my character encounters.

Hopefully, I can get back into the hobby that I really enjoy.

I hope to visit this site daily for fun, ideas, and inspiration.

Glad to see you back, Barbaraann. I recently have buying a whole bunch of craft supplies from Joann's - and rediscovering all my old traditional scrapbooking tools and papers. But now I have some new goodies, too... I am obsessed with embossing folders, and I bought an electronic cutter.. much more advanced than the one I only used to cut fonts. While I'm not using these for scrapbooking, it is fun to make cards and other Disney related crafty projects

Did you find that making the scrapbook for your brother was therapeutic? I'm sure it was bittersweet to relive all the old memories...

Therapeutic. That is a perfect word. I can't believe that he has been gone 20 years. I will see my entire family over the Christmas holiday period, and I am looking forward to showing them what I have done.

When loved ones pass, we have our memories, of course, but having photographs is an added bonus. I need to remind my family members of that, each and every time they whine about all the pictures that I like to take at family events.

I really enjoy the process of putting together a traditional scrapbook and it is truly therapy for me. To me the act of scrapbooking is way of re-living the best times in my life. I am lucky to have a large enough stash of supplies that I don't have to buy much. I get great inspiration from this site and use many of the kits to print pieces to use in my books. It's nice to know I'm not the only old-school scrapper left!
