I don't do digital scrapbooking. I prefer to get my imagination going and my hands dirty.

I started out here only doing paper...but the lure of digital slowly got to me and I haven't done a paper page in months!

I did my first digital page this weekend because I needed multiple copies for my interns. I still like the texture and dimension of a paper scrapbook and I find that the physical activity of cutting, organizing and pasting is my therapy. I'm on a computer all day for work so that's not relaxing to me.

I was a paper scrapper most of my life, and started digi about 3 years ago. I thought I'd always do both, but I haven't done a paper layout in over a year. I do miss playing with my Cricut and all my supplies. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do a paper layout at some point, but using my computer is SO much easier. I always love looking at paper layouts though.

Me too, I don't think I'd want to not have actual photos and little things I want to keep in my scrapbooks. I think the digital pages are beautiful and they look alot better, neater, fancier than my pages, but I just don't think it's for me.

I am on the computer all day as well. Doing craft type things is very relaxing to me as well and I can unwind in the evenings as I work. I can also work while the kids are outside playing because I can hear them and see them from teh window where I work. I work in my guest room and DH will lay on the bed in there and surf on the laptop or either just talk to me. I think we've talked more since I moved my work area into that room than we have in a very long time!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one!!

WOW - I was beginning to think I was the only traditional scrapper left!!!

Gosh, I've just accumulated wayyyy tooooo much stuff not to keep paper scrapping, AND I have wayyy tooo many pics left to scrap. I love getting together with friends and going to retreats for scrapping.

Maybe someday, way down the line, I'll convert over. But, until then, I like the traditional way!!

I can SOOOOO relate! I am embarassed at how much stuff I have! I have no business doing digital, but I got hooked almost a year ago. I keep telling myself that I am going to do both.... for the past year... well I have only done digi...but I swear I am going to get into my craft room and make for altered books... I promise... lol...

Digi is just so much easier and no clean up! I can just turn off the computer.... lol...

It is a hard transition... Especially when you have soooo much traditional stuff... it is hard to justify...

i hate to get into buying digital stuff because I have so much traditional stuff. Plus, most digital stuff would have to be bought online and DH would see how much I spend on scrapping. If I buy from the craft store, he doesn't always know how much is for me and how much is DDs stuff.

Oh my... I laughed out loud! Sorry... laughing with you...not at you... well... cuz... I use to do the same thing! DH didn't know the expense... lol... He would not have cared, but I really didn't want to know how much I had spend each month either....

Now we are doing a better job at budgeting and I have a seperate play stash that I use for scrappin.

I knew a girl who would tell her DH the purchase amount for their budget, but tell him it was the grocery store... lol... He thought they spent a lot each month at the grocery, but never questionned her... bad girl....
