Scraplift #22 - Port Orleans
My husband and I stayed at the Port Orleans resort and loved it.
I decided to scraplift Donna's (Dixie Pixie's) "Marie" layout for the scraplift #22 challenge. Here is my rendition - also posted here - http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...4800#post74800

So glad I still have some time. I finally picked my layout and it might take me a while since I can't use photoshop right now and am relegated to GIMP!

I lifted this LO from Donna/This Dixie Pixie gallery:
And I was inspired by the stacked papers and two photos. Okay, so that part's a direct copy, LOL! Also in Character Encounters here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...2&postcount=40

Thanks for the challenge. I have been wanting to copy Donna's layout for a while!
This is the layout I chose to lift Here is what I did with it. As you can tell, I was inspired by the HUGE number of elements she included on her layout. I loved her layout as soon as I saw it and was going to try to count them...but...I decided against it lol Here is my take on her layout. |

I want to thank everyone for being so patient. I have posted the preview for the PP. I think I am going to add a few more elements. I finished up with VBS, and needed to cut the grass yesterday. I also found out yesterday, that my husband's grandmother, which is basically my grandmother, fell. She actually was walking around the circle, and a man on a bike accidentally hit her. The both were coming around a corner. Last I have heard, she was in shock trauma ICU, with slight bleeding on the brain. She does have a skull fracture and both eye sockets are broken. Please pray for her. I am to go home on the 10th, but might have to leave earlier. Thank you again for your patience.
