Scraplift Challenge #107 : December 8th - December 21st
Scraplift Challenge #107 December 8th - 21st
Who’s got boots and a suit of red? Who wears a long cap on his head? Must be SANTA! Christmas is fast approaching so I wanted to do something that would mix in a little bit of Christmas to our layouts. One of the classic icons of Santa is his hat, so for this challenge, you will need to lift a layout that features hats. You don’t necessarily have to make hats the focus of your layout, but on your next walk through the gallery, choose a layout that has hats as the focal point and find something about that layout that you would like to make your own. I picked this layout from Britt: I love how the pictures are lined up in the center of the layout and the journaling is in a vertical line on the side. Here is my spin: Also posted here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...491#post140491 For playing along with me as I host my first ever MS Challenge, Michelle from Mad for the Mouse Designs has cooked up a special PP for everyone who has a layout posted by the end of this challenge on December 21st . It’s a sneak peek at her new kit Baked with Love set to release on 12/20! Don’t miss out on this chance to bake up a little Christmas magic! Here is a reminder of the rules, in case you have forgotten: 1) Your LO must be Disney related (or nearby theme park) 2) Upload your LO to the new Scraplift Challenge Gallery and post it in this thread. 3) Post your LO in the appropriate thread in the forums and put that link in your post here 4) Leave love for your fellow participants because we all love comments on our LOs The definition of a scraplift is to use a layout as inspiration for your own LO. And of course, above all, HAVE FUN! Last edited by Linda P.; 12-13-2013 at 06:25 AM. Reason: Adding in images for PP |

oh my gosh I haven't scrapped in sooooo long! Thanks for the inspiration to get some scrapping done! It was a fun challenge and the participation prize is darling!
I scraplifted Emma's darling hat page. I liked her super bright colors with lots of patterns and the photo block kind of floating in the center of the page: Here is my take on it! also here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...567#post140567 |

Oscar's
Hi, Linda ~ I searched the gallery and found a layout by Britt. I liked the blank space, white title, and picture in the lower right.
Here's my "take" of her layout: Forums: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...578#post140578

Here's the page I lifted, by Hpgirl:
Kept with the striped paper and general placement, but flipped mine around a bit. Also posted here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...601#post140601
