Why are there not any photos? I've looked under several category's and nobody seems to be posting any so why is there even a post for them?

I’m sorry you are not finding photos in our forums. While there aren’t a lot of them, they are there (see Animal Kingdom, for example). The primary purpose of this site is to provide a place for people to share their scrapbook pages. Forums/threads for photos, travel, Disney chat, etc is all secondary – we have placeholders for sharing this stuff with each other… if there is content there, great, if not then people might reference more appropriate sites. If you are looking for a site that offers photos of WDW, may I suggest http://www.wdwlive.com/walt-disney-world-photos.html.
