Whew. This took longer than I had hoped. My "repurpose" is the hang string - I made it from a paper. Not sure what the technique is that I used, but have been trying to perfect it. Anyway, here it is:

Umm, Lisa...What are you trying to do to me??? LOL
No templates, and use a technique?! This was a killer! Well, I guess it wasn't too bad, and you really helped me with my blend. I have always had a hard time getting those nice soft edges, but I think that I finally got it. This is the best blend I have ever done by myself. Woohoo! Although I didn't do the one word title... LOL Thanks for the awesome challenge! And Kelly, thanks so much for the amazing PP!! posted here: http://mousescrappers.com/forums/sho...6967#post96967

Wow..... What a challenging SS.... However I learned a TON in my attempt. It is still not perfect but I think I have some of the bugs worked out of the technique.
I love the Mosaic Moments system from Tami Potter for traditional scrapbooking so I have been dieing to try and recreate it in Digital Format. Still not exactly the same but it is something to work with. I also re-purposed the Pixie Dust to put sparkle on the whole page and filled frames with paper and used them to decorate the pictures. |

Wow! I tried the reflection technique - one of many I've wanted to try, since I'm a beginner. I really wanted to do the globe, but no time! I could have used this one on Friday so I had time to work through what I wanted. Oh well. Thank you for the push to try something new!

I created my own path and wrote text on it. Never did that before, have only used templates or separate text boxes. This was much easier once I actually did it. Thanks for pushing my skills a bit!

Well, I had hoped to get this done in time for the PP, but obviously no such luck, lol! The technique I chose (Heart Action) took TONS longer than I had expected. With 73 photos I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Thankfully I saved OFTEN considering how many times PhotoShop crashed! But I am very happy with the final page. I think I followed all of the rules... At least I tried my best to.
Thanks for hosting such a fun challenge, Lisa! Also posted HERE |
