Weekly Challenge #270 (Feb 18 - Feb 24)

Good morning Everyone!

I'm at work, but for all you Type A personalities who like to check for a new Challenge right away (um, that would be me! LOL). I thought I'd at least post the challenge and to let you know that the pp will be donated by Melidy Designs and will be a wonderful add on to her new release coming out this Friday! (I'll post preview & sneak peek this afternoon).

Here's the pp you will be playing for. It coordinates with a new kit called Ghost Host coming out on Friday.

And here's my page about a ride I truly don't like!! (It's also a bit of a sneak peek to the whole Ghost Host kit - because that's what was used to create it!!



This weeks challenge is truly that - scrap about a challenge you have with the Disney - maybe it's a ride you don't want to go on but have to to be brave for your kids (that's me), or maybe it's the challenge of a toddler not taking naps, challenge of entertaining kids during lines for rides, maybe the challenge is you've never gotten to go but WANT to!! Even a challenge of getting your kids to stop wearing their Halloween costume to school. hahaha....anything that focus's on something challenging (whether big or small!). That's it From there it's all your own page


Don't forget the rules....
1) Challenge should be Disney related
2) Layout should be uploaded to the MouseScrappers Gallery in the Weekly Challenge category
3) Participants should post their layouts in two places: in the challenge thread, and in the appropriate forum
4) Please don't use a quick page to fulfill the challenge

Yup, I guess that includes me, too! I'm definitely a Type A! Thanks for jumping in and hosting! I have one idea I *may* use of a breakdown my then 2 1/2 year old son had as we were walking through the Maharajah Jungle Trek. I have the crying picture to prove it! Back later with a LO!

I had just finished this page today! It's fate

Last year, my younger son (DS6) was scared to ride almost everything. Even Pirates made him cry. It was a frustrating year, because I ended up sitting on a bench with him A LOT while DH and DS8 rode everything. This year, he was so much braver, but based on this picture from Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, he really didn't enjoy them much this year either!

Thanks so much for hosting and the great PP! My Disney challenge is to get my daughter to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. She does not like roller coasters, but there are no big dips on this one and it is such a great ride and so cute I would love for her to try it. My niece is with me in the photos here. I have tried bribery!

I was terrified to try Mission Space - every female I know that has braved it said it made them sick. Well my son finally talked me into trying it last winter. I was really scared. I am not sure I will try again - but I did survive and didn't get sick! I want to thank Chef Minnie Mouse for inspiration on this layout - I shamelessly scraplifted her!
