I was more than a little excited to get a chance to meet my favorite Princess (Aurora) and her dashing Prince Philip. Of course, Philip was quite enamoured with Nana and could care less about me. It broke my heart (although I did get all the attention from Aurora). It was so much fun.

It’s something that we’ve done ever since I was a little girl. I have fond memories of getting peanut butter and jelly tea sandwiches and pretending to be a proper girl in the Garden View Tea Room. The last trip we went on to Disney World, we had our customary afternoon tea. Everything about it was perfect. We had our tea and our tea sandwiches as well as scones and other treats. More importantly, it gave us time to sit down and talk without any interruptions. It was just me and Nana sitting in the Garden View Tea Room, enjoying each other’s company. It’s a simple memory, but one that I hold near and dear to my heart. Sometimes, it’s the simplest memories that mean the most.
