Description: Journaling says: "The day started very early for us; at 2:40am to be exact. We had to be on the bus from our resort by 3:30 and that included lots of waiting in long lines and lots of walking which was a great warmup for our legs! The fairy godmother counted down our corral at 6:03am and we were off to the sounds of fireworks and lots of cheering! There were almost 26,000 people running the race and there were times it was so packed, we had no choice but to walk! I hit a wall at mile 10 and didn’t think my body would go on but it persevered and made it to the finish line where I happily hugged Minnie and accepted my tiara medal!" Description: Journaling reads: "What an exciting thing, to be one of the first people to try our the new Enchanted Tales with Belle. ALL three of my travelmates got picked to participate. Isaac was a “guard”, Ava was a “pepper shaker” and Ethan was a “laughing mirror”. Belle was so sweet too and was so pleasantly surprised by the little play we put on for her. The only thing I hated was the terrible lighting and the “no flash” rule. AND our the Disney Photopass website was down when we got home so I never got the pro photos from it. Just my cell phone photos which I will now treasure forever!" Description: Journaling reads: "While we visited Animal Kingdom I could not get over how realistic the scenery was. Not that I’ve ever been anywhere in either Africa OR Asia, it all SEEMEDpretty real. I could not help myself from taking tons and tons of photos! The streets were pretty crowded so my view was often blemished by a random head or two but personally, I think it added some character. It would have been odd if the streets had been bare. My favorite was the “bus” in India - reminded me of that movie “The Darjeeling Limited”. We always bring some of our own snacks too just to save money and be healthy but it’s so much fun to try new things during each trip! I think I may convince my hubby one day to finally split a turkey leg with me - if I can get him to let go of his grip on his pocket change. Those things cost an arm and a leg!
