Journaling - While planning for this trip I realized we would be in WDW for Mother's Day. I knew instantly the one thing that would turn a special day into my perfect day! I wanted each of our girls to pick a pearl for me. Sophia went first since she had already chosen her oyster. The Japenese Cast Member carefully opened the oyster, then slowly raised her head, looking directly at us. She said only 10 to 15 percent of oysters in the world have...TWINS!! Sophia's oyster had a set of stunning 6 1/2 mm creamy - iridescent pearls. The CM banged on the mini drum and everyone applauded along with Sophia. Bianca's chosen oyster was carefully unhinged when out popped a big pearl! Measuring 7 3/4 mm and perfectly round, Bianca's pearl has an exquisite silver-rose color. I wanted to get a close-up of the rare pearls. I squeezed my way in between the crowd when the CM presented before me a small bowl of salt and said, "Congratulations, you have a Mickey pearl.". Only in WDW! What a truly, magical moment during my perfect Mother's Day!

Natalie had done a GORGEOUS LO of her daughter picking a pearl in Epcot. When I first saw it ... I was AWE struck! My beginner's talent could have never recreated any part of it. After telling Natalie for months how much I LOVE that LO, she graciously made it into a kit. OH HAPPY DAY! I felt like I won the scrapbook lottery!! So, my layout was inspired by and patterned after Natalie's LO.
