Journaling:
We were pretty hungry since we’d only had airport food, so we quickly dumped our bags and headed to the Riverside Meal for some food. There was so much choice, which we found surprising since it was after 11pm. We quickly picked out what we fancied and headed to the check out - concious of trying to get to bed! We told the Cast Member we were on the Dining Plan and despite saying he’d take it from our credits he added it as a room charge, meaning I had to go back and try and get it sorted. The Manager we spoke to seemed reluctant to believe us at first but refunded the room charge and took off the credit... She failed however to take off the cost of the refillable mugs, meaning when we realised days later it was hard to get it refunded. Despite the kerfuffle we really enjoyed our meal- we’d be back for sure!
The Build-Your-Own-Pasta station was great! Everything was made fresh in front of us and picking our own veg/meat was ideal for me since I can be a fussy eater but most importantly - it tasted great!
We all decided on the ‘Build Your Own Pasta. It was a great choice, since it was really tasty and just enough to fill us without leaving us bloated before bed!!
Mam and Phill opted for carrot cake for their dessert.
I went for the chocolate brownie -yummy!
