At Disneyland, a cast member always comes out to tap on Jose's perch to wake him up for the show. If you ask the CM in advance, sometimes you can have a member of your family wake him up as a special treat! We were celebrating Josh's birthday, so I arranged for Josh to do the honors!

Journaling Says: I secretly talked to the Tiki Room cast member & arranged to have Josh come up and wake up Jose as a special birthday treat! I think Josh might have accidentally seen me talking to the CM and figured out what I was up to. But oh well, he still had the special honor of tapping Jose’s “noble perch� to wake him up for the show!
