Photo Scavenger Hunt #26: January 1- February 28, 2015

Heading to Disney this month and I love these Scavenger Hunts! :yeah:
As I reflect on past trips and what I want to enjoy the most about our upcoming trip, I keep coming back to the words from the song, "My Favorite Things" from the Sound of Music. This hunt will be all about the favorite things that make Disney magical! If this is your first trip, don't worry, you will quickly figure out your favorites so go ahead and take a ton of pics... I know you will.:flash:

The Challenge Rules:

1. I will be posting a list of photos to capture... you must gather at least 15 of the items on the photo scavenger hunt list.
2. You should be able to do this at WDW, DL, any of the international parks, or on a Disney cruise during time frame listed. You can even combine trips, or park & cruise trips, as long as they fall within the time frame.
3. You must be visiting a Disney park or Disney cruise between January 1- Feb. 28, 2015.
4. I want photos from this visit, please be honest here!!
5. You must use your own photos, not someone else's, unless its a photopass photo or taken by someone else in your party.
6. After your trip, post a layout of your photos in this thread by March 15, 2015. On your layout, label the photos or have a guide numbering and listing the photos. I need to be able to easily check off that you have gotten at least 15 of the items listed (you can add more than 15 if you want to).

Participants should post their layouts in two places: in the challenge thread, and in the appropriate forum by March 15, 2015.

Please be sure to leave some comments for your fellow challenge participants in the gallery.

You must have pics of least 15 of the following items:
1. Marie from the Sound of Music loved raindrops on roses... Show me a pic of a rainy moment from your trip.
2. She loved whiskers on kittens... Shoe me a pic of a feline.
3. Bright cooper kettles were also on her favorite list... Show me a pic of a household item with a Disney theme.
4. Warm woolen mittens feel good on a cold January day... Give us a photo of someone dressed for winter weather, even if it is in Florida.
5. Brown paper packages tied up with string... Loved to see your luggage, backpacks, or park bags ready for traveling to our favorite place on Earth.
Now on to our favorites....
6. Entrance to your favorite park
7. Favorite animal photo from AK
8. Photo of you or a family member with your favorite character

This sounds like fun plus I love the participation prize...woohoo! I haven't done one in a long time...It's time to jump back into it. We were there the first few days of January 2015 so I'll have to see what I can whip together.

Being the checklist geek that I tend to be I created an excel checklist with the list of photos to capture to keep me organized. I thought I would share it if anyone else wanted to use it. Just be sure to refer back to this thread for her specific rules. :)

I got all my pics, hopefully I can scrap them in time!

Arlette,

I leave for a cruise on March 4. If the March list isn't posted yet, can I do your list to play for these pockets?

Never mind! I see the March list!!!

I pulled this together with a bunch of photos taken over the last two months' day trips. I really like the favorite theme - I may have to continue that idea for all my random day-to-day photos that don't otherwise fit on their own.

Here's mine, thanks for the fun challenge! I orginally was going to pull pics from both my Jan DL trip & Feb WDW, but I ended up just using pics from the Feb WDW trip. :)

Thank you for hosting, did the PP go out already?

First of all, let me apologize for the delay in getting out the PPs for this challenge. Have you ever had something happen in your life that caused things to go from zero to 360 in less that a minute? Well.... that has been my life. It is not an excuse.... it is what it is. With that said, I wanted to thank you all so much for your willingness to participate in this challenge. The LOs were so awesome and I am in awe of all the great pages and pictures that you created. To Natalie..... thank you so much for always been willing to do something for the Mousescrappers Community, by donating of your time and your talent. Hopefully, each of you will enjoy this awesome prize that Natalie provided for you and I am sure she would appreciate a thank you! You guys are the best and again, thanks for being patient and for participating!!!
