Re: Chef Mickey's

I love those letters! Where did you find them?

Re: Chef Mickey's

The Mickey ones? I got them at the scrapbooking store at Downtown Disney (I think it has since closed). Maybe they have them at World of Disney or the resorts. I'll look up the UPC when I get home and give you the WDW Merchandise email/phone number for you to inquire if they are still in stock.

Okay, there isn't a UPC on the book. It is called "The Little Big Alphabet Sticker Book". It has stickers for Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Princess and Tinker Bell.

Re: Chef Mickey's

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for them this trip. They are really cute. :)

Re: Chef Mickey's

I found the receipt, neatly stowed in my Passporter PassPocket! The UPC is 400174338204. It was $10 and I bought it in 2006 at Everything Pop at Pop Century. The phone number for WDW Merch. Guest Services is 407-363-6200 or email wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com - contact them now to see if they still have it.

Re: Chef Mickey's

Thank you! That was really nice of you to do. :)

Re: Chef Mickey's

Chef Mickey would be so much fun ! Your pages are great.
And I agree those letter are too cute !!

But WHY oh WHY would they close a scrapbook store in Disney ??

Re: Chef Mickey's

Because it was a pretty sad little scrapbook store! I was so disappointed when I went there the first time. You could find better stuff in any craft/scrapbook store in the country. Plus, anything found at the scrapbook store (which was mostly books & such anyway) could be found at the World of Disney (and you can still find it, they didn't get rid of the stuff.) Most of it was found all over the parks, including at the resorts. I did buy some kits & stickers, but they could have done SO much better. And as long as it's all still at the parks, the closing of the store isn't a big deal for me.

Sorry, back on topic. ;) Here's a LO of my mom celebrating a bday at Chef Mickey's. :) Click for credits.

I love that "Big Cheese" arrow, scrappinmon! There are just too many things to take photographs of at Chef Mickey's. It's such a fun place to eat.

Journaling:
Our first experience with Disney was breakfast
at Chef Mickey. It was early in the morning,
but you were raring to go. This was your first
time meeting the characters and you couldn’t
sit still in your seat, waiting for them to come
to our table. I can’t believe you even managed
to eat a Mickey waffle during the excitement!
