Thanks for helping to spread the word. :yeah: A few months ago I asked Andrea if it was okay for people to put the MouseScrappers blinkie their ScrapMatters signature. She approved as long as I allow people to put SM blinkies in their signatures here (which I am okay with).

Got myself a new blog and was looking for a blinkie and found it. Whoohoo. I love it for people to know I hang out here, LOL.:yeah:

I can't figure out how to add the mousescrappers blinkie to my blog. I have tried copying the images' URL, but it didn't work. Please help!:confused:

What is the URL of your blog? Maybe someone who uses the same blogging site might be able to help.

how to hotlink?
 

I've tried right clicking and uploading the image onto my blog but it doesn't upload it properly because it's a GIF. How do I hotlink it from here? Does some have the actual code? :cheshire_bounce:

The easiest way I have found to add a blinkie to your blog (I use blogger) is this
1. copy ( Ctrl C is the shortcut) the web page address (http://www.mousescrappers.com)
2. go to your blog's layout and "add a gadget"
3. click the + sign next to "picture"
4. Paste (Ctrl V) the page address you copied in the gadget window that comes up in "link"
5. go the the blinkie you want to copy and right click. choose 'open image in new window'
6. go to the new window you opened with the blinkie image and right click. choose "copy image url"

7. go back to your layout and paste the url in the gadget window, the image should instantly appear
8. click "save" in the gadget window and your done

Hopefully this helps! It took me forever to find a blog explaining this and when its done it
is really easy.
