Does anybody have a picture of.....?
 

Hello everyone! I was just curious if there is already a thread for this topic (and I am missing it) and if not if there would be an interest in having one. I know there was one on the other board (the not so happy place) and having just returned from taking our DD for the first time I am now realizing things I would like to have a picture of but missed or things that I did photograph that just didn't come out as well as I would like for scrapbook pages. And I feel pretty confident that my fellow scrappers would be the best resource for this.

So let me know your thoughts! :)

Good idea. If you need a photo, go ahead and put out a call for it here - hopefully someone can help.

Mark Barbieri posted a bunch of his photos on this site back in the spring, but he hasn't been on in a while. He has some amazing photos and I hope he comes back soon. He posted a lot of Animal Kingdom photos - look in the sticky at the top of that forum for those photos.

Does anyone have pictures from the Tiki room show or preshow area at Disneyland?

I will be at DL this weekend - a friend of ours gave us a night at Paradise Pier :hooray:. I can take some tiki pics for you. Anything specific or just tiki area?

If anyone else needs any DL, DTD, CA pics let me know and I will try to take them this weekend!

Oh cool! Thank you, thank you! There are some Tikis outside in the waiting area that talk just before they let you in, one or two of those and then an area shot. Then inside a room shot and then the main bird lamp thingy that comes down. That probably makes no sense at all. Since I currently have none I will be happy with anything.

Does anyone have a shot of the Liberty Belle boat from Nov/Dec?

I missed getting one and when I went to scrap the page I realized I didn't want to use the one I have from our previous trip since it didn't have the Princess Tiana decorations.

If anyone has one to share, I'd really appreciate it!

I just found a bunch of tiki photos on this site. You may be able to read the names of the tikis and then Google for more.

I have this awesome site in my favourites and I have used this site a lot for the photos I wish I had taken but didn't - hope it helps someone :)

I did thanks. I found some someplace on the internet and though I was getting the yellow triangle it actually printed fine in the storybook.

Just curious if anyone has photos of either the front and/or the lobby of Wilderness Lodge that they would be willing to share? I somehow missed the front and I am not happy with how the lobby shots turned out. Thanks in advance for any help! :thanks:

can someone tell me what the proper etiquette is when it comes to other people's website photos? As I am one of those people with no Disney photos to call my own, I've been scrapping my girlfriend's ones. I've seen referece to Davelandweb's website, which turns out to be a treasure trove of photos. Can I scrap with them as long as I credit his site? Who has an answer? :help:

If you are using photos from someone's website, I think you should really ask them for approval before you use their photos, just in case. :)

Here are a few options...

- we recently started a 'Minnie Makeover' challenge. So far, Tanya and I have posted some of our own photos for others to scrap, and I think we have some additional volunteers waiting in the wings to share. See the challenge forum for more details.

This is always a good idea. Photos are inherently protected under copyright laws, which is why a lot of photographers and sites watermark the images that they use. As long as you're using them for your own personal, private use and not trying to sell them or make money, there is usually no problem is using others images.

No problem. Not everyone is close enough or has a chance to get there frequently, so if I have some random pic of some flowers, or attraction that someone can use to fill in a project they are working on I don't mind. I do have some obscure pics of thing in the park that I have put up on Zazzle for sale, but if someone wants a shot for a scrapbook page its cool. :D

I take tons of WDWpics.... way too many for me to scrap myself, and I don't work as a pro or anything to sell them.

You are all welcome to sort thru and use anything that you need for your LOs!

I just copied them all into a seperate album with out a lock... but theres not much rhyme or reason to the order, since I was pulling from multiple personal albums to set it up. Just let me know if you use any for your personal use....and if you use them on a blog/website, credits please :yes:

Wow you've got some great pics! I think the fireworks are my fav! I haven't had a lot of luck with firework pictures. Thats for sharing!

You're Welcome!! I did get some very good FW pics last fall. Didn't take the kids, so hauling around the tripod wasn't as much of a hassle as it normally is :D
