Project 2016 - Facebook group
 

I have grown to love Facebook groups because I think it encourages more frequent dialog between members (notifications frequently go out to members, compared to notifications only going to forum members once after their last visit). Group members are free to post questions, share experiences/progress, photos, and so forth without being exposed to the general public (as it would be if we held the discussions on the MS FB page).

I created a group for this project - we can try it out and see how helpful we find it. I understand that not everyone uses FB - I will still have all the 'important' info in this forum as well

at the moment, the privacy is set to 'Closed', which means anyone can see who are the members of this group, but only members can read the posts. I would eventually like to change this group to 'Secret' once everyone who wants to be in the group is in (it's just easier to request to be in group when it is closed)

The FB group is AWESOME!! It so great to be encouraging each other and seeing immediate responses to posts

I agree... it's been working out really well!

You all keep me motivated, but I also have to remind myself that I am new and not to compare.
