Pre Trip Preparation, Planning and/or Countdown
 

We did a countdown from 100 before our trip. DS was so excited to move the arrow every day.

Yes, we're that family with the dorky Disneymobile. LOL The look on DS's face when he saw it made it totally worthwhile though. LOL

What a great idea! We always do a paper chain (I put WDW trivia on each link), but yours is much more colorful. Love the Mickey/Minnie shapes! Are you doing something similar for your upcoming trip? Your DS must be so excited!

This layout is bursting with excitement... I can feel the excitement in the air. :woohoo: Great idea to do an 'at home' layout - I think many people forget to capture some of that pre-trip excitement (I'll try to do this before my next trip). Love the large title and journaling - oh, and of course the decorated car! :D

Thanks! I love your trivia idea- I'll have to remember that for when DS gets a little older. I think this time around I might throw in some other characters to switch things up a bit. DS is already asking if we are going to hang up Mickey heads soon- I was shocked he remembered! August 21 will be 100 days- not that I'm counting or anything. :lol:

Bear with me this is the first page I'm posting on here and I hope I'm doing it right! :confused:
My babies counting down. We're going again in Jan 2010 and they won't know until Christmas so the counting down this next time won't be for a while yet. I'm kind of missing them being in on the planning but I can't wait to see their faces on Christmas morning! .

Journaling reads: As part of the surprise of telling you that you were going to Disneyworld I stocked up on all sorts of princess stuff to fill a goodie bag. Not only did all of the stuff get you even more excited to get there but it helped keep you entertained on the way there and gave you stuff to do when we had "down time" in the hotel room.
