Gallery issue - description (credits) not showing up

<< Edit by Carol: copied to this forum from another thread >>

The site won't let me leave the credits or anything in the Gallery. I had them in the upload and they didn't show up. I tried to leave them in the comment and it says there is nothing there.

Why?
