Make sure you post the sub-forum link here too. Speed Scrap Guidelines There will be 7 instructions in total. The first will be posted on the hour. The second at ten past. Third at twenty past. Fourth at half past. Fifth at twenty to. Sixth at ten to. The final instruction on the close of the hour. If you join late don’t worry that you missed the start you can still play just follow the rules for your layout and get it uploaded before the deadline. I am giving you 10 hours from the time the chat completes to finish your layout. Hopefully this will capture any overseas folks in bed right now You have until the following times to post your layout in the gallery, the appropriate forum, and back into this thread. Please leave love for fellow participants if you have time (don't forget this is the theme of game #1 of the weekend!!) Deadline: 6:00am EST Sat/5:00am CST Sat/4:00am MST Sat/3:00am PST Sat/11:00am GMT Sat You are playing for this adorable alphabet from October Dawn Designs. Ok, here we go! DIRECTIONS: It’s the opening ceremonies for the Winter Olympics! I love the Winter Olympics. And I’m going to have the opening ceremony on in the background tonight. I’m going to use the Olympics & the Opening Ceremony as my inspiration tonight for my speed scrap. 1. Each country has a flag carrier. Chose at least 2 photos (any number after 2 is up to you). Make one a leader and stand out – frame it, make it large – just make sure I can tell which photo is your “leader” 2. I love all the colors during the Parade of Nations. The flags, the clothes. Choose 4 or more papers for your layout. Make at least 1 a patterned paper. 3. Hockey is one of my favorite sports to watch and it’s an Olympic sport (yay). There are 5 skaters and 1 goalie on a hockey team. I want 6 of the exact same elements on your page. 4. As the different countries are walking in during the Parade of Nations, the speakers on our newscast always give some facts about the country that is currently walking in. I want to see 2 or more statements on your page. This can be something about the picture, about the people in the picture, etc. I don’t care if it’s in list format or paragraph format. Just give me 2 or more. 5. The medals are so shiny! I want something sparkly – glitter element or glitter paper, pixie dust, etc 6. There have been 2 games hosted in Russia – Moscow in 1980 & Sochi in 2014. Place 2 ribbons or bows on your page. 7. Lastly, each Olympic athlete needs their support stuff – gear, uniform, teammates, etc. Add any additional items your team (cough, I mean layout) needs! More journaling, embellishments, hidden Mickey, shadows…then post in the gallery, appropriate forum, back in this thread and in the master thread! Lastly, we all love to be cheered for, so please leave love on your fellow scrappers layouts! here is my layout and here http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...124#post142124 Last edited by tinkerbell1112; 02-07-2014 at 05:02 PM. |

Thanks for hosting Jlynn and for this adorable PP, October!
I'm getting tired!! I hope I didn't miss anything-I got kicked out of the chat room, but I enjoyed chatting with my fellow hockey fans! It definitely makes a difference having some great kits to scrap with that I don't have to go hunting for pieces!
